Garibaldi

You’ll be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t like Italian fare, and one of the best in town is old favourite Garibaldi on Purvis Street. Their affordable set lunch ($39++ for three courses), features signatures such as Italian Buffalo Mozzarella with San Marzano Tomatoes & Basil and Spaghetti All’Amatriciana.

Summer Pavilion

This restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton serving Cantonese cuisine is the go-to place for those with a preference for Chinese food. Summer Pavilion’s one-Michelin-star is testament to the quality of the food handcrafted by Executive Chef Cheung Siu Kong. At $58++ per person, the five-course set lunch menu includes Cantonese classics such as Dim Sum and Double-Boiled Soup of the Day. The elegant interiors surrounded by a glass pavilion will impress even the most sophisticated diner. For that particularly important guest, book one of the restaurant’s six private dining rooms.

The Black Swan

Located in the heart of Raffles Place, this European bistro housed in the former headquarters of the now-defunct Kwangtung Provincial Bank is a popular destination for business lunchers and the after-work drinks crowd. Their set lunch (S$39++ for two courses, S$45++ for three courses) features Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio, Half Lobster Thermidor and Berry Meringue Dome for dessert. A private dining chamber is also available for larger groups.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

You can’t go wrong with a hearty steak when it comes to talking business. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse at Robertson Quay hails from New York and brings with it a four-course lunch (from $55++) featuring signature dishes such as Tuna Tartare and USDA Prime Petit Filet Mignon.

Stellar at 1-Altitude

If you’re really out to impress, then going to one of the highest restaurants in Singapore is a good bet. Stellar at 1-Altitude at the top of One Raffles Place will offer your guests a view they won’t soon forget. The restaurant offers a 3 and 4 course menu (3 courses $48++ / 4 courses at $58++) which changes monthly on the first Monday of every month.
